This sweet stencil from www.stensource.com is the perfect way to update your wood floors with an English country design scheme. You can create along rows of roses that run from one end of the room to the next in long stripes. Space then about 1 foot part.

Now, the first step is to use your painter's tape to mark off your lines on the floor. It is easy to remove, which is why I recommend it.

Now, start in one corn of the room. Tape your stencil down with more tape.

You want to use a stencil brush to first dab on primer.

Remove the stencil and move it down your line in the room.

Let the primer dry while you continue stenciling.

Let the stencil dry over night.

Now, start again in the same corner. Place your triple rose stencil over the primer roses. Line it up ad tape it down.

Dab on muted pink and white paint creating your stenciled rose.

Now, dab in the green and white onto the leaves.

Remove the stencil and move on to the next primed roses.

Continue this until you have stenciled the entire English country wood floor.
