So, you always need to first lightly sand your Gift Basket. Wipe away any debris and apply on a coat of primer.
Let this primer dry.
I like to start this project by painting all of the Gift Baskets receiving the paint treatment in a warm and muted inspired color that will be the base color. So, paint with yellow, or whatever colors you chooses. You can also buy a small pint of a similar but darker shade of your color to add dominion.
Rent a sprayer and spray paint on your paint for even coverage.
Now, take a nice muted darker color and mix is with equal amounts glaze. Pale gold #3 would work here. Dab this on top of the dried pale first color.
This will add dimension.
You could also lightly stipple the Gift Basket with a very dry brush with very little darker yellow paint on it. This will create that uneven effect.
Let your English Country Gift Baskets dry for at least twenty-four hours.
Now, you are ready to fill your gift basket.
