The Honda Jazz is noticeably one of the most successful car models released into the market. The initial Jazz model was released in Japan named Fit instead of Jazz. The well rounded design, good looks and high maneuverability sets the car overall standards to the next level. Initially the Jazz came out with the L13A i-DSI engine. The 1.5 liter Jazz came out later around 2002.

The Jazz comes with 2 variations - the 1.5 VTEC and the 1.5 i-DSI version. Both of these models have its pros and cons. Of course the 1.5 VTEC engine is slightly more powerful compared to the 1.5 i-DSI version. The 1.5 VTEC has 110ps (horsepower) while the 1.5 i-DSI has 88ps.

The Driving Experience - Honda Jazz 1.5 VTEC and i-DSI

The Jazz 1.5 VTEC has a rougher drive compared to the 1.5 i-DSI version. The reason is simple - the 1.5 VTEC is equipped with harder shocks and a sportier interior finishing in order to compliment the extra horsepower of the VTEC engine. I noticed that the car performed exceptionally well while taking a corner. I took the car for a ride up the mountains and the car took the corners perfectly as it was designed to. Also, I find it easier to zig-zag around especially during the rush hour jam.
