California Medical Board Investigating Another Doctor in Relation to Anna Nicole Smith Death

The California Medical Board is going to investigate another doctor in relation to the death of Anna Nicole Smith. The board is conducting a formal investigation into Dr. Khristine Eroshevich. News reports state that Eroshevich was Anna's psychiatrist. She prescribed Smith with numerous drugs that Anna ended up taking before her death.

Tmz.com is reporting that eleven drugs were found in the hotel room where Anna died. Those eleven drugs were all prescribed by Dr. Khristine Eroshevich. Eight of the eleven drugs found were prescribed to Howard K. Stern. One of the drugs found was chloral hydrate, the drug that was determined to be the most direct cause of Anna's death. The California Medical Board is investigating why there were so many different drugs being prescribed to the pair. Many have speculated that the drugs were not for medical illnesses.

Many who have followed the Anna Nicole Smith drama already know that this is not the first doctor to be investigated. The California Medical Board is also investigating Dr. Sandeep Kapoor. He is being investigated for prescribing methadone to Smith under an alias. Smith was prescribed the drug when she was also eight months pregnant.

Dr. Kapoor and Dr. Eroshevich have been linked together since the death of Anna Nicole Smith. The investigation into Kapoor helped the California Medical Board learn of a document sent to Kapoor from Eroshevich. She sent the doctor a "drug wish list" from Anna Nicole Smith. Kapoor has gone on the record stating that he did not prescribe the drugs to Smith. This connection has led to the board investigating Eroshevich.
