The Samsung DVD-L25 Portable DVD Player with 2.5" Screen is one of the tiniest DVD format players available. The DVD-L25 is literally a handheld, portable DVD player. It measures a tiny 4.3 inches by 6.7 inches by 1.3 inches thick. The TFT LCS screen is 2.5 inches, but this little player
can go anywhere, literally! Take it on the bus on your way to work, while you are at the doctor's office or anywhere that you may have to sit and wait for a while. It plays 8 cm (3.5 inch) Mini-DVD discs and Mini-CD discs. It also has an integrated mono speaker and a headphone jack. This means that you can listen through your headphones and not disturb those around you.
The Samsung DVD-L25 Portable DVD Player is also compatible with MP3, WMA and JPEG digital content. The unit includes an AC adapter and 4 rechargeable NiMH AA batteries. The charger is also included. You get about 2.5 hours of play from one set of batteries, so if you get a second set of batteries, you can easily rotate and always have a means to play your unit.
The design of the Samsung DVD-L25 is very contemporary with a rounded shape and integrated 2.5 inch TFT LCD screen that is not only in full color, it is also very bright for being so small. The unit is controlled by an easy to use joystick controller that is located on the front of the unit. It does not, however, play standard, full size DVDs; it only plays the 8 cm or 3.5 inch Mini DVD discs. This means that if you do not already have your video and audio content on that format, you will need to burn it from your PC or disc library onto the Mini DVD discs. But this is not very difficult to do and you can purchase the discs at rather reasonable prices. If you get the DVD-RW, you can reuse them again and again, then you will really get your money's worth!
