Five Different Ways to Show Grandma & Grandpa That Somebunny Loves Them

Children love Easter, Grandparents love children. What better time then to present the older generation with personalized gifts made with the hands of their grandchildren? The following is a list of unique presents that every child, with a parent’s help, can make for their Grandma or Grandpa.

1.) A picture of all the grandkids in bunny ears: Every Grandparent loves to add to their photo brag book and this is sure to be keeper. You can go as far as you want with this, from painting on whiskers to all out rabbit suits. Make sure to have them holding a personalized “I love you Grandma/Grandpa!” sign. You can even put the picture in a custom hand made photo frame or purchase an Easter themed one from your local store.

2.) Handprint Chicken: Every one has done the handprint turkey design for thanksgiving. Well this is the same premise using a different animal. Have your child dip their hand in paint and press firmly on a piece of paper. Now use construction paper to cut out a chicken’s beak and legs and glue them on or have the child draw them in. Have him/her sign their name under the message “A Grandparent’s Feathers Never Get Ruffled- Happy Easter!”

3.) Fingerprint Bunnies: If you have a few grandchildren and would like to give a gift from all of them, have them dip just a finger in paint and press them firmly to a piece of paper. Let them each add bunny ears, feet and a tail and sign their names underneath the creation. Add a “Happy Easter Grandma/Grandpa! From All of Your Little Bunnies.”

4.) Have each of the grandchildren decorate and sign a colored Easter egg and put them all in a pretty gift basket that you can add crackers, jams and jellies to. Not only will the Grandparents appreciate the thoughtful snacks during the days following such a hectic holiday but will smile every time they enjoy them.
