Review of Ambien CR, Prescription Sleep Aid

Ambien CR is a prescription sleep aid used to treat insomnia. It is unique in that it is the only dual-layer tablet that helps you not only get to sleep fast, but stay asleep for a full night's rest. This is a review of Ambien CR, prescription sleep aid.

If you suffer from insomnia, you know how it can control your life. Mornings are shot, appointments are missed. It can be dangerous to drive or take part in other enjoyable activities. Hours and hours are wasted tossing and turning, and you feel helpless to do anything about it. Without
enough sleep, you experience tiredness, lack of energy, difficulty concentrating, and become irritable.

Insomnia is actually categorized by how often you suffer from it. Transient insomnia lasts for a short time. Intermittent insomnia occurs on and off. And chronic insomnia occurs on most nights, and lasts for a month or more.

Abien CR is effective at treating insomnia. The first layer of Ambien CR dissolves quickly and helps to promote sleep within fifteen to thirty minutes. Therefore, you should only take Ambien CR right before going to bed. The second layer of Ambien CR dissolves slowly, to help you stay asleep. Therefore, you should only take Ambien CR if you can devote an entire seven or eight hours to sleep.

I occasionally take Ambien CR to treat my insomnia. I would take it much more often, but doctors are reluctant to prescribe it long-term, because, as with most prescription sleep aids, it is highly habit forming. Ambien CR helps me to fall asleep fast, within the first half hour, and it allows me to sleep the entire night without interruption.

There have been reports of sleep-walking, sleep-cooking, even sleep-driving, while people were taking Ambien CR, but I never experienced anything remotely like that. Some claim they have no memory of engaging in these activities while taking the prescription sleep aid. Ask your doctor if this is something you fear happening.

I toook Ambien CR 12.5 even after reading all the horror stories. I prepared myself. No alcohol. Hide the laptop etc. I took it at 10:45 pm and it took roughly 50 minutes to really kick-in. I started feeling rather "heavy" the next think I know it was 8:00am. I woke up feeling great. No sleep walking, no nightmeres, no hangover feeling, nothing but good sleep. This was just day one. Beyond this may prove different.

I took my first dose of Ambien CR 12.5 MG last night. I actually slept a full 8 hours, work up refreshed and had no bad taste in my mouth as with regular Ambien. Did not expereince any strange behavior or hallucinations. Just a great nights sleep which I desperatly needed. Didnt feel tired in the morning, and even had taken both last nights and tonights dose on a full stomach. Maybe that is the key to not having a bad experience with this medication. Eat a lite snack just before taking it, or if your dinner hour is later in the evening as ours tends to be take it with your meal. Try it and let me know what you think.

Ambien will Not work if you take it on a full stomach. Make sure you have an empty stomach to get the full effect for a good nights sleep. A pharmacist told me about this in Arizona!! It works now ,,, I don not eat after 6:30 PM now and have lowered my weight too?

Ambien CR is trash! The only time is works is when my chronic insomnia has me awake for 3 days straight. When I take it by the 3rd day it woll work for one night leaving me dizzy for a while the next day. Then I when taking it the following night, nothing happens and I am up all night. It is useless overpriced garbage.
