Product Review: M.A.C. LipGelee - A Practical Indulgence

I hate nearly everything about makeup. I hate the smell; I hate the feel; I hate the burden of having to cart a container of it with me everywhere I go. My distaste for cosmetics means that I have quite a dilemma. While I am no New York fashionista or diva extraordinaire, I am still a girl, and I still like to look and feel pretty. Discovering M.A.C. LipGèlee may not have saved my life in the traditional way, but it definitely saved my confidence.

In fact, the coating is so soft, so delicate that it barely registers at all, even while shielding the lips from the sun and wind. The M.A.C. Just a year ago, I was so disenchanted with makeup, that when I received the M.A.C. LipGèlee as a Christmas gift, it lingered in the package for weeks and weeks. When I finally ran out of chapstick, I reached for it in haste, prepared to endure until I could make it to the nearest drugstore. From that moment forward, I've been a devoted fan, spreading the word from friend to friend.
