Tom's Spearmint toothpaste is what I use every morning, noon and night to keep my teeth and gums clean and my mouth minty-fresh. Tom's Natural Antiplaque Toothpaste with Propolis and Myrrh leaves no horrible aftertaste. No chalky, gritty, stinky mess that makes you cringe like some other naturals. And, even better, my kids love it, too! This is a great product. It cleans our teeth and gums thoroughly and effectively, removes plaque using xylitol derived from birch bark and leaves our mouths feeling clean and fresh.

Tom's of Maine toothpastes are the only natural brand to carry the ADA deal. The ADA seal is a trusted symbol of a dental products safety and effectiveness. Tom's has carried the seal since 1995. Tom's also has Halal certification meaning that their paste is made in accordance with Islamic guidelines.

You know what else I love about this toothpaste? Well, being the earth-mama that I am, I've felt hard-pressed to find a toothpaste without artificial sweeteners. Tom's of Maine delivers! No artificial sweeteners, no artificial dyes, no preservatives, no chemicals of any kind. No fluoride either! Tom's does carry fluoride toothpastes, but I am so glad that they give us consumers a choice; Crest and Colgate don't do that. I'm thankful that for folks who feel fluoride is unnecessary or even down right dangerous, Tom's has created this great toothpaste without it. In its place, they've put two herbal resins, propolis and myrrh, to promote a healthy mouth. Tom's of Maine does no animal testing and uses no animal ingredients. Instead, they use vegetable oils (palm, coconut, olive) and vegetable glycerin, aloe vera juice and wheat protein. Just natural, biodegradable ingredients. Go Tom's!

Tom's of Maine Natural Antiplaque Toothpaste with Propolis and Myrrh can easily be found online, or in natural food stores. Actually, I have even found it a time or two at my local Big Lots, Wal-Mart, and Giant Food Stores. It is affordable and comes in five great flavors: Cinnamint; Fennel; Gingermint Baking Soda; Peppermint Baking Soda; and Spearmint, my own personal fave.
