Rashes, skin irritation and chafing are one of the most annoying things to deal with. In both infants and adults trying to rid yourself of these things can make you feel like a test subject. Years ago when my daughter was just an infant, her old school pediatrician recommended a powder that changed our lives.

Caldesene powder with it's old fashion look and fresh scent, truly trumps all the other remedies used for diaper rash. Years ago when I was first directed by my daughters pediatrician to buy this product it came with a sticker on the top that contained an experiment. The experiment instructed you to cover your finger in Caldesene powder and then submerge your finger in a bowl of water for an entire minute. When you pull your finger from the bowl amazingly it is dry! Think about the benefits of that kind of protection for a infant with diaper rash. Caldesene powder is primarily made up of two ingredients Zinc Oxide and Talc, which are both considered skin protectants. Caldesene works by sealing out moisture and protecting chafed skin. You can use it with each diaper change and should apply after the skin has dried from cleansing. I always used Caldesene as a preventative as well, by proactively using it when I noticed any redness or irritation. This powder is great for other skin issues as well, it works great on prickly heat, which is something my daughter used to get frequently in the summer. Caldesene can also be used on chafing and other skin irritations as well.
