Can you spot Waldo? Or better yet, can you spot who is gay and who is a lesbian? That is the question that a popular magazine is asking the readers. Well, not asking, but pointing out.

On the cover of the recent issue of Out Magazine, a monthly publication for gays and lesbians, two people is featured standing with a mask coving their face. One is of Jodie Foster, the other is of Anderson Cooper. The message, the two stars are still hiding the fact that they are homosexual.
Magazine 'Outs' Jodie Foster and Anderson Cooper

During the editorial, the magazine talks about how Jodie Foster is not exactly in the closet, but not exactly out either. They refer to this as the 'glass closet'. As the editors put it, everyone knows that she is gay but Jodie Foster does not talk about it or does not try to cover it. She just let's people think what they want and continues on with her life.

The same thing is said about Anderson Cooper. Everyone knows that he is gay but regardless of what people say, he never has any comments. He just continues to go on with his life and let the rumors swirl without effecting him.

"I think there are four kinds of gays in Hollywood, there's the openly gay; the gay and everybody knows it but nobody talks about it; the married, closeted gay who doesn't talk about it; and the screaming 'I'll sue you if you say I'm gay' person." stated Howard Bragman, the CEO of the PR firm Fifteen Minutes.

According to Howard Bragman, the reason for both Jodie Foster and Anderson Cooper staying silent on their personal preference is because they do not want to be stereotyped.

"A lot of actors are afraid of being defined by their sexuality. In Hollywood they don't cast by positives, they cast by negatives: 'This one's too this or that.' And actors don't want to give red flags. They're actors and want to talk about their mutability, not their personal lives."

You can bet that Jodie Foster and Anderson Cooper will not sit back and say 'no comment' after having their faces blasted on the cover of Out Magazine, unless they gave their approval. Which if they did give their approval, that would mean that they are taking the steps to come out of the closet.

We will just have to wait and see what will happen next.

Seriously does ANYONE really care if Jodie Foster - one the the greatest actors alive - is gay or straight. And another thing - if you are gay - are is there some reason that you have to tell people what your sexual preferences are? I am straight - but it would have never occurred to me that if I were living with a woman, raising children with a woman, that I (a woman) would have to tell people that yes, this woman that I am sharing my life with - we love each other and enjoy sexual relations. There is no outing Jodie Foster - she is living her life - with her partner - openly and honestly - just not with a conversation with the public as to her sex life. Are we so stupid - that we would have to actually see a video tape or pictures to understand what life she has decided to live. Jodie is great - I wish more people were as smart, attractive, talented and honest as she is!!!!!!!!!!!

Jodie Foster is one of the world's 100 beautiful women. She is a fine actress and brainy, too! She is ok as a person, so who cares if she is gay or not.

Ignorance is not genetic, and can be changed. It's a choice, and an illness. There is hope, you can change.

I knew Jodie Foster was Gay. She is ugly anyway. I always wondered why you never hear of her with different men and having her own "flesh and blood" children. Maybe all ugly women should be gay so that when the guys get drunk all they have to do to get a threesome is hit on the drunk ugly woman and tell them to bring their gay lover. he he

Why can't anyone be bisexual anymore? That is, why does it always have to be one or the other? Plenty of guys like men...and also have girlfriends who are in on the 'secret', and the same is true for women.

These celebrities are well established and respected. They should come out of the closet and give gay kids some great role models. Thanks for the article!

When I heard about this, I was appalled. Having friends who have struggled with coming out, I've seen that it's no picnic. And it's certainly not someone else's "job" to out someone. Granted, I already suspected most of these people, but I certainly don't need Out magazine making a crusade out of it to prove to me they're crazy, sexy, cool. If anything, it proves to me how ridiculous they are. Good reporting!

I don't think it's anyones business.
