One thing that every parent can be sure of, their baby is going to be teething at one time or another. It helps to be prepared for this event since it can be very uncomfortable for your baby.

During the time that your child is in the process of cutting teeth is referred to as teething. At this time you may notice that your child has a poor mood or a loss of appetite and is constantly chewing on objects. In addition you may also notice that their gums are swollen, and sometimes bruised, and that they are drooling an awful lot. If you have introduced solids by this time you may want to cut back on acidity food to help prevent diaper rash that often comes with teething. The formula for Hyland's teething tablets consists of four main ingredients. Calcarea Phosphorica, which is calcium phosphate, supports the development of teeth and their arrangement in the mouth. Chamomilla, chamomile, helps with your baby's irritability. Coffea Cruda, now this is coffee but don't worry it is an unbelievable small amount, will help your baby sleep. Belladonna will help with the inflammation that your baby has.

When my son is teething I usually have a few signs to let me know that it is a good idea to give him some teething tablets, and I always use the Hyland's brand. Right off the bat I will notice his swollen gums. Shorty after that it feels like he might have a low grade fever and even though normally he has a very healthy appetite he isn't too hungry. I can see that the tablets start working literally minutes after I give him a few. He suddenly brightens up, nurses himself to sleep and takes a very peaceful nap.
