It seems I never have time to catch the shows I like. The 3 year old of the house seems to control the TV through out the day. Although she has her own TV and digital cable in her room she feels the need to be with Mommy if I am in the living room.

I think the vest invention is the TiVo, I do not know how I lived with out this product prior to it coming out. Yes I know the great VCR, but buying tapes, setting a timer and trying to remember to set the timer for all your shows weekly could become tiresome quickly and then if you forgot you where out of luck. With the TiVo I have been able to set my shows to record for the whole series. The best thing is with the 180-hr Series 2 DT DVR TiVo you can record 2 shows at once but the true life saver is being able to have a few Dora the Explores recorded for those times when there is nothing on TV and your child is just demanding there favorite show.

A few clicks to the remote and your all set and ready to go. Your shows can be watched at any time of the day when your free. Busy during the week? That's fine just set the TiVo to record all your shows and catch up on the weekends. Never miss that episode of ER, Dirt, or House again! Not to mention the Soprano's!

The 180-hr TiVo® Series2™ DT DVR is also broadband ready so there is no worry to have it connected to a phone line. It records up to 180 hours worth on its built in hard drive, so there is no worry about not having enough room. You can even have complete control of your TV viewing. You can pause, play, stop, rewind, fast forward all your favorite shows even live TV. Best of all TiVo offers plans that will fit anyone's budget. IF you think of the cost you spend renting movies monthly with a TiVo you can set to record some of your favorite movies save them for movie night and cut out some of the rentals and the TiVo subscription basically pays for itself. Not to mention the price of a VHS for people still recording with a VCR or DVD for the people who record with a DVD recorder. The money works out in the end.

If you do not know about TiVo I would run off to the TiVo website today and check it out. You will be glad you did.
