With the seasons always changing, the temperature is always fluctuating, and this means the condition of my hair is also changing. When it's hot, rainy, or humid, I tend to have frizzy and bad hair days, whereas, when it's cold and windy, my hair tends to fly all over the place. I have always been in search for a good hairspray that would withstand all the conditions of each season, and I have finally found it: Salon Grafix Hairspray.

This hairspray comes in different formulas, but the ones that I have tried are the Shaping and Freezing sprays. The shaping formula does just what it promises it will do: it shapes your hair. I usually dry my hair beforehand and then use a comb and my fingers to get it shaped exactly as I would like it to stay throughout the day. Then I spray the product all over.

What I like most about it is that it is a very light formula and does not leave white residue on your hair, even if your brush through it. When you spray it, it comes out very evenly and misty, unlike other sprays that come out too strongly in one spot. It is also available scented or unscented. I personally prefer the unscented much more than the scented version because the scented spray is a bit overwhelming, and the smell tends to stay with you throughout the entire day. On the other hand, while the unscented spray still has a tiny odor to it, you can barely smell it, and it is not strong enough for other people who are around to smell it, unlike the other version.

After I have used the shaping formula, sometimes if I want extra hold, I spray the freezing hairspary over it. When they work together, my hair is protected against the forces of Mother Nature, although even when I just use the shaping spray alone, I am still always satisfied with the results.

I also recently discovered a mini travel version of the hairspray as well. I have seen it in various grocery stores and in Walmart thus far. It is very convenient and, I have bought one to keep in my backpack and purse in case of a hair emergency.

I highly recommend this product to everyone no matter what type of hair you have. It works wonders and truly helps your hair to stay where you want it to stay!

I live in Canada and recently purchased the small version of the shaping spray during a trip to the U.S. (Memphis, I think). I like it for all the reasons listed above, expecially because of the light scent, and the fact that it brushes right out of your hair and leaves no residue or stiffness. I liked it so much that my next trip I purchased two of the full sized cans in Buffalo and gave one to my sister. I then gave the small one to a friend who was going on a trip to Nashville. She purchased three full size cans and her daughter purchased three cans as well. Now, we have found that we can buy in in Canada. (But it's about double the price)

I'll have to recommend this to my mom - I noticed her hairspray (or overuse) is leaving residue in her hair...
