GLAD Press'n'Seal Wrap Provides 'Fresh' Form of Entertainment

3
GLAD Press'n'Seal wrap comes in a conveniently sized box, wrapped up in a neat roll like aluminum foil or wax paper. The texture is actually something between wax paper, cling wrap, and the sticky portion of a post-it note. Press'n'Seal has the unique ability to stick to itself, so you can make it into baggies or seal the edges off to retain airtight freshness for meats and cheeses. You can tuck it around a casserole dish, or wrap it around your waist, seal the seam and make a bizarre and rustling hula skirt. It's that versatile.

GLAD Press'n'Seal for once lives up to its company's name and fills my heart with gladness. I have no beef with Glad's classic sandwich bags: They fulfill their purpose sufficiently enough. But where's the glory? Where's the pizazz? GLAD Press'n'Seal leaves room for creativity. If you fold a sheet in half, you can press it into whatever shapes your heart desires. Sandwiches nestle in their hand-made nests, pizza evades the little air pockets so difficult to avoid with aluminum foil. GLAD has created a new kind of material that doesn't shrink and bunch into weird edges like it's cling-inclined Saranwrap cousin.

If I haven't mentioned this yet, Press'n'Seal is also fun. There are all sorts of uses for a durable, self-sticking material that haven't been dreamed up yet. A few examples: One could stuff their bra, molding the material into reasonable contours. You could take Press'n'Seal camping and make a homemade food pouch to sling up in the trees, away from curious bears. While camping you could also use a sheet with a hole cut in the middle to line an outhouse repository. With a little heat and water, the adhesive side might even be sticky enough to catch flies.

GLAD Press'n'Seal is ideal for wrapping up toothbrushes during travel so they don't take up space or get clothes damp. It's good for lining things, or sealing the top of a drink when you're relaxing outdoors. You can slide a straw through the top, and dissuade bugs and small debris from going in. You can always use this product to waterproof items that come in peculiar shapes.
