Real Estate Investing provides wonderful opportunities for those looking for a career change or supplement their income. There are many different ways of making money in Real Estate. You can wholesale home, rent homes, buy tax lien certificates, rehabbing homes, and etc. I will be concentrating on rehabbing homes in this article. Well, more specifically I will be discussing how you can improve your chances of raising money for rehabbing homes.

Raising money to rehab homes is not as easy as some may think. You first will have to locate investors. You next step is convincing them to loan you the money for the project.

Here is a short list of rehab sources:

Family and Friends-Who better else to ask for money than your family and friends? They know you and you know them. There is an established relationship that may work in your favor. People like to lend out money those that they can trust.

If you have some character, there may not be a problem in winning them over for your venture. Also, you would know who amongst your family and friends that have received a large settlement or retirement account that can be put to good use.

Professionals-Well to do professionals are always looking for extra ways to make money with their earnings. Doctors, attorneys, dentists, and etc. are open to sound and safe investment opportunities. Your venture just may the one they are interested in.

Real Estate Investors-There are other investors who wouldn't mind loaning some money on a profitable deal. There are some investors in their senior years who don't have the energy to hunt for hot deals around town. They are more comfortable in people bringing deals to them and profiting. They will loan you the money and you repay with interest when the home is rehabbed and sold.

You can consider taking on another investor as a partner. They may have the funds or source of funds and may be happy in participating in the rehab project and splitting the profits with you.
