Recently during the womens NCAA tournament. It came to light that two coaches were on the different end of the perspective when it comes to lesbians in women's basketball. One coach has been accused of improper relations with a student/athlete. Of course a big no no. No matter the sex. Young people often idolize a coach and will follow them over a cliff if prompted to do so. It's not mind control but a buying into a philosophy that produces winning results. And after all don't we all want to be winners. Since our childhood we have been taught to win. Win at any cost in some circles.

The other side of this is a coach who had an unwritten rule. No lesbians on the team. Flat out. In this day and age. Where acceptance and tolerance is being preached from all pulpits across America. Rather you agree with the lifestyle or not you have to understand that people are people. We are the human race first. Americans have come along way from our early intolerable age but yet so much still remains to be done. Both coaches used their power to promote their own feelings and beliefs.

Here's the rub. Has womens sports become a recruiting tool for the gay lifestyle. Have you been to a WNBA game? Once fear and rejected lesbians are attending games in droves. Any good business person has to realize that like your family. You don't get to choose your fans. Cater to them or loose them is my motto. Personality I don't care about your personal life as long as the credit card approves the sale. In all honesty I don't agree with the lifestyle but that's my hangup. I have relatives who are gay and I love them all the same. No more and no less than other family members. My point has always been. Don't make your sexuality an issue and others will accept you as you are. The minority in a society has always had to pay a price for their points of view. Please don't attach someone's sexual choice to the same bandwagon as the civil rights movement. Nothing raises my cackles. Others are not going to like you for reasons beyond your control. I have no other choice but to be a black male. Number One Male according to the police scanners in Baltimore.
