If you have a diapered child in the house, chances are you have some baby wipes as well. However, did you know that they are for more than just wiping tender bottoms? That's right, those generic baby wipes you keep around the house are going to waste if you are only using them for diaper changes! Here are some ideas on alternative uses.

1. Keep a mini-pack in your purse for quick freshen-ups. These suckers are great to wipe grime and makeup off your face as well as getting rid of underarm sweat odor, just swipe and dispose! If you are planning on traveling, bring along baby wipes to help you freshen up along the way. They are also very useful for getting that sticky spot of ice cream off your face!

2. Stain removal sticks have got nothing on baby wipes! Keep a pack near your washing machine, in the laundry room and when you come across a stain, just rub it with the wipe to remove as much as possible and then drop into the washing machine and launder as normal. Baby wipes have the advantage of being considerably cheaper than the regular stain removal products.

3. Dusting goes nice and quick with a couple of baby wipes on hand. Just wipe down your appliances and electronics. The dampness of the wipes doesn't affect machinery, but it does a great job of capturing grime! Just beware when using them on glass like a mirror or computer screen, as some brands leave streaks and smears. Test in a corner first!

4. Polish your shoes in a rush with baby wipes! They work great for boosting the shine on your dusty shoes and they get stains off white sneakers, too! If you have them in your purse, you will never have to enter a meeting with scruffy or dirty shoes again.

5. Clean wounds. Baby wipes are great for wiping away blood and cleaning sand and dirt from a wound. They can also be used to soothe a nasty sunburn or any other kind of burn, for that matter!

Did You Know?
Some baby wipes actually have a built in disinfectant, perfect for cleaning wounds and minor injuries!
