Who Will Win DWTS Fall 2009?
Dancing with the Stars 2009 cast is out and I'm pumped! But Mark Dacascos, Chuck Liddell, Tom DeLay? What? There are some true wildcards on the season nine cast list and as a regular DWTS watcher, I have more than a few predictions for the season. For ruminations from a semi-pro, read on! I'm calling it right now: Mark Dacascos, the high-kicking, energetic host of the Food Network's Iron Chef America, will make it to the final round. He's got great energy, and let's face it: The man just looks smooth when he's karate chopping. With moves like those, I simply can't fathom that Mark Dacascos could be a bad dancer. One ticket to the Dancing with the Stars finale, please! Likelihood of winning Dancing with the Stars 2009: Sky High.
Moving on with the new Dancing with the Stars cast 'best of the rest' series, I'll touch on Mya. Ok, I'll be honest: I know absolutely nothing about her. But she's a choreographer, she's young at only 29 years old, and she has experience with the rigors of the entertainment world. I think she'll be able to handle the brutal DWTS workouts like a superstar. The next 'Lil Kim? That's my guess. Likelihood of winning Dancing with the Stars 2009: High.
Now... Donny Osmond. Donny, Donny, Donny. It's not that I want to put him in the Dancing with the Stars superstars category. I don't. Sure, he can probably dance just fine. He's a pleasant enough guy. But I'm only putting him in this category because those Osmonds have superFANS. Despite being a decidedly subpar dancer, sister Marie finished third a few years ago. Third! If not for her semi-scary doll freestyle routine, she could've actually won the whole darn Dancing with the Stars competition! So yeah, the DWTS voters will come out in droves for Donny Osmond, for better or worse. Likelihood of winning Dancing with the Stars 2009: High.

I was totally floored when I heard Tom Delay was going to be on. And, not meaning to be snide, Donny Osmond, well, he seems to be in better shape than his sister was back then, so hopefully HE won't faint. (Okay, so I meant to be snide.) :)

Great preview for the DWTS season! I have to admit that if I were a voter (you will be happy I'm not!) I would be voting to the very very end for Donny Osmond. I can't help it, I think if you were born in the late 60's and raised on the Osmond's it is mandatory....go Donny (and please show me some purple socks)!
