An 80 year old woman wrote to Billy Graham about being ignored by her family. She wrote that no calls, visits or takes her out anymore making her want to leave them out of her will. This is very sad how people separate themselves from family. However, family may become estranged from one another when no one gets along. On the other hand, Families could be apart from each other by choice. Meaning, letting work and family be a reason for abandoning other family members with fear that someone will want something. This may not be far from the truth with some families. Nevertheless, there are other more special times when family time is worth more than anything. We should all think of how we want to be treated as we age.

It is not easy for some people to acknowledge their age by every birthday always getting older. I mean, it's a good thing to be blessed by many years, but not easy to adjust to the experience for the first time. Yes! This is our first time with the aging process, and we will all need patience instead of abandonment.
We all remember what it was like being young, and loved how we looked wearing fashions we wouldn't dare look at today. Experts say that as we age our skin loses elasticity, we gain a few pounds, and our bodies don't have the same energy it did before. This is terrifying for a person who has all these changes hit all at once. Some people are trying every product they can to stop the aging process from botox, to face lifts to beauty products. Aging is just another reminder of getting closer to leaving the world, and a lot of us are not ready for that yet. It's a new and scary adventure that some people welcome without fear.
