How to Save Money on Wedding Expenses with After Easter Clearance Sales

That clearance bin that shows up after holidays may be helpful if you are planning a wedding with a pastel themed color. If you get to the store the day or so after the holiday, they start marking down - usually 50 - 90% off the Easter related items, and often items that don't have a bunny or a chick on it don't look very Easter related so they can be used for something else. Stuff to buy on post holiday clearances (insert holiday here) for your wedding - Easter is the time to stock up on stuff if your wedding colors are pastels - especially pink, lavender, light blue, and pale yellow. If you wedding is before next Easter - consider raiding the clearance sections of your local drugstore and supermarket or other store with seasonal goods for some of the following items:Candies in pastel colors and wrappers are on sale at deep clearance. Hershey kisses and M&M's are in pastel colors. Why pay the custom color M&M price for pink M & M's when you can stock up on the clearance price to make M&M or Hershey kiss favors with these clearance candies and the container of your choice. Store in a cool dry place until use.
It is also a good time to pick up and dipping chocolate and colored sugar mixes which seem to go on sale in the bakery department. These are useful if you are going to make your own chocolate dipped strawberries and add various coatings.
Flower girl dresses and Ring Bearer attire might be very similar to Easter outfits - look for clothing on clearance, including little flower girl purses and satin baskets. This is especially good for a garden theme wedding.
