There are so many times when one feels lost , alone and confused when unexpected problems disturbs the normal routine. One cannot always be prepared for sudden circumstances therefore making it practically impossible to lessen the stress of it all. Sometimes the people one knows in the family or as friends do not provide the kind of comfort one needs in the time of despair giving harsh criticism or blind advice making one feel more alone as well as deepen the wound. At these times one is at their witts end and it is many times difficult to be alone when you only ask for a shoulder to cry on. When no one is there to volunteer it can take one into the abyss of depression and reclusiveness as well as estrangement. At these times when you feel that your world has just ended, I want you to know that there is a miraculous occurence that can happen to those who believe and try. You don't even have to be the A+++ person of 100% faith, but have a desire toward things that are good and opposite to this world of woe.

I know this because I have been recently shocked into numbness by the sudden death of my father last month. I come from a large family with alot of christianity. More importantly it was my immediate family who had the most influence on me as far as prayer was concerned. It was prayer that kept me from having a panic attack or a heart attack that would with the years of stress I've already experienced that could have taken me out of this world. I felt through the whole shock of it a strange hold on my spirit like arms around my waist holding me tight as if it would not let go. I realized that it was God holding on to me to give me and my family some peace that one can not easily acquire. I still feel it, but it today is not as tight as it was when we first heard the news. Now I want to tell you this so you too can feel a tight hug during the most terrible times in your life.

PRAYER
