There are thousands of videos on YouTube, and most of them suck. Let's be honest, there are just too many people with a webcam and too much time on their hands, not to mention bad video from TV and movies. Sometimes wasting time is fun, but these shorts put that concept to shame. Enjoy the train wreck of my top ten list which is not in any particular order or ranking.
1. Kirk vs. Lizard Man
Wow we thought this was groundbreaking television at the time. My first video on the list is a scene from the classic television show Star Trek where Kirk fights the Lizard Man, and I use that term loosely. I was disappointed there were no two-handed punches thrown.
2. Really Bad Cover Song
Europe's big hit 'Final Countdown' done live by some crappy band in a venue with no attendance except for two kids running around. Perhaps the camera person asked the huge crowd to stand off-camera so they would have a clear shot of the stage. On a side note if I was a professional wrestler, this song would be my theme music and if I was a bad guy I would use this version.
3. He is no Kenny Mayne
Trainwreck video of an amateur sports anchor absolutely sucking at it. But hey, he has a catch phrase and I won't spoil the suspense for you even though it's "boom goes the dynamite". Seriously. My favorite part is when he's describing highlights because I can't tell if he is just behind on the action or doesn't know the players very well.
4. Really Bad Cover Song Part Two
Watched until my eyeballs bled, was the cover of 'Summer of 69'. Nothing much here to comment on as far as the video, it's the one from the Bryan Adams song. Writing this article has taught me why so many crappy bands do cover songs; I can't help but hum along even if the singer sounds like Wing.
5. I have new-found appreciation for Chingy
I thought this guy had an issue with stuttering but I guess not. Nobody has done the 'repeat the first word of a line three times' trick yet I guess and in the rap world it's all about a gimmick. However I don't think he will find success and listening to the lyrics I kept thinking 'man what if my car broke down on that street'.

That was a phenomenal headline for a great idea -- so glad the CMs didn't change it to something more "searchable." Very nice -- er, as nice as something about such a dreadful topic can be.

That Boom Goes the Dynamite clip is classic YouTube. I love how before he even says Boom Goes the Dynamite he says "he" passes it to..."the man" because he doesn't know any of the names. Great stuff.
hehe Donna, so true! I reviewed a lot of videos for both articles, and much of it I couldn't find a joke in or a witty remark. That's when you know it's bad, when you can't even make fun of it hehe. Thanks everyone for their comments, it's much appreciated and glad you enjoyed my silly article :)

I was on YouTube an evening ago and I was amazed at the lack of self control. It is a rarity that you find a good self made video. Great article!
