Kurt Vonnegut is gone. The man, the myth, the legend, succumbed to brain injuries after a fatal fall in his home. He, himself, is probably chuckling on his way to the afterlife. It is possible he would find his final demise amusing, considering everything he had gone through in life. All his questions will be answered, can you even imagine the verbal lashing god is going to get from him? It would be a must-see event.

Kurt Vonnegut was born November 11th, 1922, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Kurt and Edith Vonnegut. His father was an architect, while his mother stayed home attending the chidren. He had an older brother, Bernard, and an older sister, Alice, the three of them exhibited vastly different backgrounds. Bernard favored mathematic and science, Alice leaned toward art, and Kurt demonstrated remarkable literary talent.

I was sad to hear of his death. I've always loved reading Vonnegut and Bukowski!
