Laguna Beach Star Jason Wahler Makes Racial Slur and Gets Arrested for Assault

Shortly after 12:00 a.m. on Monday morning, police officers were called to the Waterfront Marriott hotel. According to the caller, a physical squabble had occurred in the lobby, in which someone attempted to restrain Wahler. A security guard attempted to break up the altercation, and asked Wahler to leave. It was then that Wahler shoved the security guard in the chest, and then punched him in the mouth. Per police reports, the "Laguna Beach" star was restrained by another person and then removed from the building. It is reported, however, that Wahler returned to the hotel not much later. He was discovered unconscious and smelling strongly of alcohol on the third floor of the hotel by police officers.

Upon waking up the drunken Wahler, the star began spewing racial expletives at the policemen. Officer C. DePina (who is not African-American) claims:

"He repeatedly called me a 'n*gger', a 'f*ggot', and a poor (expletive)." The officer also claims that Wahler made vague threats to him.

Hollywood Rebel or Hollywood Racist?

It appears that trouble follows the 20 year-old star. In September of 2006, he was arrested in Los Angeles for assaulting a city employee and two tow truck drivers. During that altercation, officials also indicate that the 20 year-old also used racial slurs. And reports claim that his blood alcohol level during this attack was .22 percent. For these charges, he was sentenced to two months in jail in Los Angeles. He was also required to attend Alcoholics Anonymous classes, and a one-day session at the Museum of Tolerance (for using the racial slurs). His sentencing regarding these charges begins May 4^th.

Then in March of 2007 (right before his sentencing for the previous charges), Wahler was arrested again for resisting an officer, and investigation of underage drinking. This arrest occurred during a raid at a local nightclub.
