Chronic Fatigue Syndrome: How BioMeridian Helped Me Know About a Misdiagnosis

About three years ago I started experiencing severe health symptoms that wouldn't abate: extreme fatigue, frequent colds and flu's, weight gain, miscarriage, hair loss, brittle nails, insomnia, anxiety, amongst a few other symptoms. I figured my family practitioner could help out with a diagnosis, and perhaps some remedies. My practitioner performed some regular tests, such as blood and urine analyses. The only thing that returned abnormal was the Epstein Barr test. I had an idea that this would return abnormal because of a mosquito-bound virus that I contracted out of the country, and would remain in my system for the rest of my life.

I couldn't accept that test as the only reason for all of those symptoms that I was experiencing. I would return to my practitioner almost monthly with an infection of some sort (normally sinusitis and/or bronchitis). After months of requesting additional tests, my physician told me there was not much that he could do except treat the symptoms - that I needed to accept the fact that I had Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. This practitioner seriously caused me to feel that I was crazy.

Thinking that I would have to live with such fatigue and sickness, caused some deep depression because I knew that I couldn't live life how I would like. Naturally an active and athletic person, I didn't have the energy anymore to go on long runs, bike rides, or hikes. Any free moment I had out of work was dedicated to rest and sleep. I became even more depressed that my husband would not have the same wife that he married three years earlier.

Takeaways
  • Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) may not be an ultimate diagnosis.
  • CFS often has underlying issues, such as hormonal imbalance or allergies.
Did You Know?
I was unknowingly part of that unlucky, estimated 3% of women that experience negative side effects to birth control.

Thanks for the information. I have chronic/adrenal fatigue and am going to get biomeridian testing done next week. Thanks for the positive input. Greatly appreciated and very encouraging!
