The TV show 24 originally did not captivate me. For those not familiar with the TV show 24, each episode plays for one hour of real time. The commercial breaks are even figured into the real time. An interesting thing about the show is the clock for each episode. Viewers will hear Jack Bauer stating that the following takes place between x time and x time.

The TV show 24 is based on an anti-terrorist unit trying to save the United States or in some instances the world. The plot line focuses around the Counter Terrorist Unit (CTU) facility and its employees. Jack Bauer is the primary character of the TV show 24 and is played by Keiffer Sutherland. Jack goes through so many things during the series. One never knows what next will happen to Jack.

Keiffer Sutherland does a terrific job acting the part of Jack Bauer. Because the TV show 24 is such a suspenseful show with interesting plots and unexpected surprises, the actors often do not know what is going to happen in a scene beforehand. Once a person watches several episodes, it is impossible to stop watching. A few episodes will turn the average person into a huge fan.

Jack Bauer is notorious for capturing the terrorists and extracting information from them. One of his favorite things to do it seems is to interrogate terrorists and shoot them in the knee. Another awesome feature of Jack Bauer's character is the ability to figure out what the terrorist are going to do next. Jack always seems to know the right thing to do. At times, he gets in trouble with the directors of CTU for going against CTU orders. But Jack is fearless and does whatever he feels is the right thing to do.

I have never seen a show that has had more back stabbing. It will seem like characters are getting along with one another. The next thing you know, someone is spying on someone else or trying to get them in trouble with the director of CTU.
