Carrie Underwood one of American Idol's super-stars, has just made it known, that she will be the first 'Idol' to appear as a cover girl on the May 2007 issue of "Cosmopolitan" magazine. Underwood has a current #1hit titled, "Don't Forget To Remember Me." The magazine will be on sale as early as April 10, 2007. The blonde-haired beauty was one of Idol's past winners. The promise of possible stardom, is what drives the 'Idol' contestants onward and makes all the possible humiliation of being publicly rejected worth it.

Nine little Indians, now there are eight. Last week's elimination of punk-rocker Gina Glockson set the stage for this week's even more confusing latest episode of American Idol. Gina Glockson, who had been told in the past by Executive Producer Nygel Lythgeu that her pierced tongue stud would not appeal to America, finished her sentence on "Idol" by throwing her stuffed good-luck charm to the crowd. "Pickles," had finished bringing the teary-eyed Glockson any more luck.

In last week's elimination, host Ryan Seacrest, called the 'Idol' hopefuls forward into three groups. Jordin Sparks 17, who hails from Glendale, Arizona, Melinda Doolittle 29, from Brentwood, Tennessee and Lakisha Jones 27 who lives in Fort Meade, Maryland were all safe. What a surprise! The three women are the most highly reguarded of the "Idol," hopefuls. All three have superb singing voices. They are also among the most popular singers on Fox's number one rated, reality T.V. show. There was no doubt in the minds of the audience that these three would survive to sing another week.

You know the funny thing about it is, personally I think that the couple of really good singers are way above the others and should be in a different contest. I think Sanjaya sees like a sweet kid and he definitely can market himself. With this show I gave up trying to predict. It's now a popularity contest.

The truth is that Melinda and Lakisha are so good, probably neither of them will win. I like Sanjaya, but if he wins with his questionable talent, I'm done with this show because it shows that it means absolutely nothing.
