Homemade Cleaning Supply Recipes a Healthy Alternative that Works!

Have you ever read the ingredients and warnings on your cleaning supply labels? Every day we plunge our hands into some very toxic chemicals. Because we buy it from the store we think it is safe. A great all purpose cleaner is Baking Soda. It is a natural deodorizer, has a little grit for scrubbing, and in fact you can even brush your teeth with it safely. For general cleaning purposes dissolve 5 Tablespoons of Baking Soda in a quart of warm water. Instant all purpose cleaner, great for the kitchen, and the bathroom. If you have some tough grime, like a sink or bathtub, just shake baking soda onto a damp sponge, scrub, and rinse. Instant squeaky clean!

Another great natural antiseptic cleaner is Vinegar. Simply add 1 cup of white or cider vinegar to 32 ounces of water in a spray bottle. If your bottle is smaller, just premix it in an old milk jug and label it, then pour the amount you need into your sprayer. This natural cleaning solution is great for cleaning mirrors, glass, counter tops, and other slick non-porous surfaces.
