Donna Hogan Half- Sister to Anna Nicole Smith Tells All on CBS News

Donna Hogan one of the half-sisters to Anna Nicole Smith was interviewed this morning on the CBS news. She has told the story to Henrietta Tiefenthaler in the book "Train Wreck" about her sister. You can read a twelve page excerpt of it on the www.CBSNEWS.com it is tragic and pathetic.

Donna looks very similar to her sister Anna Nicole, who she refers to rightly, as Vickie. She claims to have been the oldest of the brood although her real mother is Wanda. They were both abused by theirfather Donald Hogan. Hogan, who was not only an alcoholic, physically abusive, but a pedophile. Their mother had an on again off again relationship with him. There was no registry for sexual predators back then. Anna Nichole craved a relationship with her father and her mother would become very angry when she would try to see him. It wasn't for the right reasons, because she would continue to have a relationship with her through out periods of her life.

Donna suffers from the pain of estrangement with her sister. She was the mother hen to the brood of siblings and half siblings all through her childhood. When her mother had twin boys she was the one who took care of them when she was a teenager. The story that she tells is hard to follow. There is a string of boyfriends, fathers and half siblings.

She feels that Virgie should not be allowed to raise Anna Nicole's daughter that her sister's wishes should be honored. It is obvious that she knows that her mother would be a horrible mother to any child. She also said that her sister's love for her billionaire husband was a marriage of security. Donna said that she doesn't believe that she was entitled to half of his estate.

She wants her little niece to have a healthy happy upbringing and knows that being brought up in her biological family would be severely damaging. It is a tragic story not only because of what Anna Nichole went through but because of the estrangement of sisters. She also tells about the relationship between her other sister Anna and Anna Nichole who were so similar. Their personalities of greed, promiscuity and needing to be in the limelight kept them from being sisters, but more as enemies.
