If you write articles than you are probably constantly searching the internet in order to find out how to get more people to read your articles. Of course there are the usual ways such as creating your own blog, but what about thinking outside the box. Remember that just because your articles are online does not mean that you have to limit your advertising of your articles to the internet. For example have you ever considered visiting your local library to see if they will allow you to post fliers that advertise some of your articles? For example your article could say something like learn more about how to teach your child t read. This is something that is sure to catch the attention of parents who come in and out of the library. Just make sure that you include a link for them to follow on the flier so that they will be able to find the site.

Another suggestion is to write your own newsletter a then post them at your local shopping center or leave a stack at your local hair salon. All you have to do is write a short description of some of your articles and come up with an eye catching title for your newsletter. This is definite a way to get yourself some additional exposure. It will also be a lot of fun for you as well. By advertising your articles this way you may be start to get some additional job offers as well. Remember that the more people read your articles the more exposure you will get and the more business. If your main goal is to build up a name for yourself in the writing business then you will definitely have to work at it.

I have an email list of all my ex-fellow employees. The factory where we all worked shut down and one woman keeps us all up to date on what every one is doing, and all the email addresses. I took the liberty of adding them all to my subscribers list, and sent a polite email telling them I had done so, and they were free to unsubscribe if they wished. A few thanked me for adding them, and so far nobody has complained because I did!
