A Few Ideas and Suggestions for Parents

Some children seem to get sick very often, especially after being around a large group of people. Children seem to touch everyone and everything that they see. Many of them also tend to put their fingers in their mouth or in their face. If this always seems to happen to your child, there are a few t
hings that may be helpful in order to prevent this from occurring so frequently. The first thing that you will need to do is make sure that you carry some antibacterial hand wash with you at all times. You can usually get a small to medium size bottle from your local dollar store. This way no matter where you are you can make sure to disinfect your child's hands.

As mentioned in the beginning of this article some children suck their fingers and or may constantly be putting their hands in their mouth. You should monitor your child to see if this is something that they do often. If you notice that they do then you will want to encourage them not to do so. This is especially important after they have shaken someone's hand, or someone else has touched their hands. Unfortunately many strangers don't realize how harmful it can be to touch baby's hands.

If you teach your child form a young age how to be germ conscience then your job will get a lot easier as they get older. Another suggestion is to give them their vitamins before they go to any public place. Whether it's a party, school, or some other type of event you should still make sure that you give them a vitamin to help build up their immune system. Some parents also love to use airborne, they have one that is especially made just for kids. You can find this product at your local Walgreens or you can find it online. You may even be able to find it at your local supermarket. You may also want to check with your child's pediatrician to check and see if they have a weak immune system.
