Have you been itching to get together for a weekend with all your college (or even high school) girlfriends but just don't know what to do once you're together? Here are some ideas that will make your reunion weekend one to remember.

First and foremost, be sure to send your husband and the kids to your in-laws' house for the weekend! Enlist their assistance before evicting them to help clean the house, wash all the dishes, do the laundry, etc. You don't want to spend your weekend feeling as though you have to catch up on all your household chores.

Most likely, your guests will be traveling and arriving separately. Have snacks and beverages ready and waiting for everyone as they arrive. Appetizers and other finger foods are usually easy to prepare and clean up. Have available some old photo albums or a yearbook for reminiscing. If it's been quite a while since all of you were together, it's likely that the memories and catching up will continue into the wee hours of the morning. Plan to sleep late the next day!

Planning a day of beauty can be a fun, relaxing, and refreshing way to spend time together. Give yourselves facials and do each other's hair. Or, make appointments for everyone to have a makeover done. Most department store cosmetics counters offer them for free! If you don't mind spending the money, find a salon that can accommodate everyone together for pedicures and/or manicures. Some salons offer "friends" packages that will include services for everyone at a slightly discounted price. Following the salon visit, go shopping for a new, fun outfit. How often do you get to shop with an entire group of friends who will give your their honest opinions in the dressing room?

After the makeovers, what better way to end the day than with a night out on the town? Where you go depends on the party mode level of your group. Bar hopping may not be an option, but spending the evening out at a nice restaurant, dance club, jazz club, or karaoke contest could be a lot of fun.
