Nestled in Northwest Missouri is the small town of Jamesport. When you mention that name to most people around Missouri they think of two things: The Amish and antiques. Jamesport is an excellent place to enjoy a slice of agricultural history while roaming through its many shops.

Jamesport came into existence around the 19th century, but then big towns like Kansas City became the main routes in and out of the area, leaving towns like Jamesport to almost be forgotten, but not quite.

Jamesport holds its own. It has one of the largest Amish communities around Missouri and houses some of the best shops and activities for tourists passing through.
