DNA Results Have Been Announced Regarding Dannielynn, Daughter of Anna Nicole Smith

The DNA results have been announced. Larry Birkhead is the father of Dannielynn Hope Marshall Stern, the infant daughter of the late Anna Nicole Smith. Although the hearing took place in a closed court setting, Larry Birkhead
was proud to announce the results as he left the hearing. "I told you so", he announced, after which he hugged Howard K. Stern, his rival in the case.

Now that Birkhead is the father, legal custody of Dannielynn will likely be transferred over to him from Howard K. Stern, who has been caring for the infant girl since her mother's death. Birkhead and Stern will provide a smooth transition for the baby, so as not to upset her. Stern will not be fighting for custody. He will surrender her willingly and allow Dannielynn to be released to her natural father, should custody be awarded to him.

The custody battle for Dannielynn between Stern and Birkhead began before the February death of Anna Nicole Smith, but grew more intense once she passed away. Dannielynn may well inherit the estate of Anna Nicole Smith's late husband, J. Howard Marshall, which is worth millions.

Howard K. Stern, Anna Nicole's lawyer and companion before her death, had this to say "I'm obviously very disappointed but my feelings toward Dannielynn have not changed." He made it clear that Birkhead can come to his home in the Bahamas to visit Dannielynn anytime. After which, Birkhead stated happily, "My baby's going to be coming home pretty soon".

Virgie Arthur, Anna Nicole Smith's mother, who has also been fighting for custody of the infant, said "I'm happy that Dannielynn will know who her real father is".

The DNA results taken March 21 were analyzed by a DNA specialist by the name of Dr. Michael Baird, who announced the results outside the courtroom, shortly after the hearing ended. He had this to say regarding Larry Birkhead: "Essentially, he's the biological father". Baird is an expert in genetic testing.

Although the hearing did not delegate custody arrangements, it is likely that custody would go to the natural father, but in a complicated case such as this one, it is best not to assume anything until it is proven.

I really didn't approve of her as a person, either Argaric, but I always feel bad for any innocent children. Call me a sap. LOL :)

wheeeee! Now that this is on the road to settlement, maybe the dumbass A.N.S. headlines will dissolve from the news in the near future. Yes, perhaps I'm an insensitive douche, but doesn't anyone remember how we were conditioned to revile this woman and all things associated with her up until her death?

Great comments everyone. I agree about the peace being made. It's about time things get as normal as they can be for a little girl who has lost her mother.

It has been refreshing to see that the men involved are working together on this now.

Hopefully now this little girl will get somewhat of a normal life without all the court proceedings and drama. Great article!
