Yes, it's true that Don Imus has appologized for the comments he has made. Don's morning broadcast "Imus in the morning" will be dead air for two weeks while MSNBC decides what they are going to do. This is the result when a cranky radio talk host calls the Rutger Basketball Team "Nappy Headed Ho's". So instead of having dead air during the "Imus in the morning" show. These selections of songs should be played in replacement to remind Don Imus of his Rugter commentary.

Don Imus the first selection that you will be listening to and learning from is We Run This by Missy Elliot.
The first thing Don Imus needs to learn is that he is just a messenger of the news, events, and sports of the world. My paycheck is payed by the people that read my blogs and articles. Don Imus your paycheck is payed by all the people your commentary is about.

If MSNBC actually does put "Imus in the morning" back on the air, Mr Imus will need to remember a few things. Don Imus needs to remember that there is life and death in the tongue and people are listening. Nasty comments about other people will only come back and ruin your radio career.

The second selection that Don Imus will be listening and learning from is I am not my hair by India Arie.
"I am not my hair, I am not this skin, I am not your expectations, I am not my hair, I am not this skin
I am the soul that lives within." are the lyrics of pride. African American women are finding freedom with thier natural hair color and hair styles. So this song is just a reminder of how pointless the comment is.

Between the Trees reminds us "That sticks and stones may break my bones, but your words should be killed" Has Don Imus not heard of a Thesaurus. There could have been many different words used to say "Nappy Headed Ho's"
Yes, I even hate writing that. Don Imus could have used ballsy, blunt, brusque, coarse, crass, crude, hard, harsh, raw or rowdy.

Paid is spelled P A I D, not P A Y E D. It's Rutgers, not Rutger; incident, not incidence, and too, not to in the context these words were used. For Pete's sake, get spell/grammar check if you want people to take you seriously.

I think having him on suspension was a smart business move. It's all about image. If society doesn't want to watch/listen to the show then society will not also listen to the sponsors commercials. Your going to sit there and tell me that if someone from another race makes a negative comment about your culture, that your going to sit there and not say something. I'm sorry I just can't believe that.

I agree. Im watching Anderson Cooper right now and they are interviewing people about what they thought of this incidence. I'm a big feminist and I know of things he has said in the past-I'm glad a comment actually got him in trouble this time. He has been getting away with saying stuff for to long. Not only is he sexist and racist, he is just morally wrong and has made to many bad decisions.
