Digital Photo pillows
Have the kids use some of the digital photos of themselves. Prints it out in on some photo transfer paper. Any brand will do.
They can iron this onto a simple white fabric they have cut out in the shape of a circle. Use fabric paint to highlight details like lips. Now they have some customized bedding for Mom this Mother's Day! She can use these pillows in the family room or in a chair in her bedroom.
For a more involved project by an 8"X8" pillow insert. Have the kids cut out 2 10"X10" square so fabric from the fabric store. They can print out their digital photo on the photo transfer paper. Cut the photo out into a fun mother's day related word, like a LOVE.
Have them iron it onto one of the square of fabric. They can use no sew to sew the pillow together be sure to sew three sides with the picture facing the inside. Now, turn the pillow cover inside out. Insert the pillow insert. Now, folding the rough open edged. Iron this in flat with iron.
Now, insert some more no sew and seal it shut. You could also use a sewing machine for this project t if you have one.
Tip: If you do not like to sew at all you could buy a pre made pillow and fabric cover and simply transfer the digital picture onto the pillow. This Mother's Day craft pillow is a great project Mom will love.

Digital Photo Coat Hooks
I love this craft project because it gets kids involved in cleaning and organizing them home, what Mother wouldn't love that kind of gift! You will need a coat hook, a wooden plaque in any shape, and some screws; decoupage, a paintbrush and a picture hanging hook for this craft project.
Have the kids take some photos of each other and themselves. They should get creative with these shots.
