Laguna Beach Star Yells Racial Slurs; Is Sharpton Ready for Another Round of Talk Show Appearances?

Outbursts of racial slurs in Hollywood are so 2006, but nobody told that to Laguna Beach star, 20-year-old Jason Wahler.

Fresh from the Mel Gibson School of Charm, a drunken Wahler repeatedly addressed Officer C. DePina as n-gger and f-ggot. DePina is neither black nor gay.

Trouble began hours earlier after taking part in an altercation at the Waterfront Marriott hotel. When a guard stepped in to handle business, Wahler shoved him in the chest and punched him in the mouth. After being removed from the building, he returned a short time later but passed out on a third floor hallway.

The dude can't hold his liquor.

Two police officers responded to the call and woke him up. It was at this point that Wahler may have unconsciously ruined his career.

After unloading a couple of slurs, Wahler stated that "he was rich and would have my ass," according to Officer DePina. "Wahler made vague threats to assault officers."

After Sunday's arrest for investigation of assault and criminal trespassing, he posted bail and was released from the King County Jail nine hours later.

Wahler has starred in MTV's The Hills and Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County.

In September, Wahler was arrested after he punched a city worker and tow-truck driver in Los Angeles. He was sentenced to sixty days in jail, attend Alcoholics Anonymous and a one-day program at the Museum of Tolerance for using racial slurs. The jail sentence was supposed to start in May, but that's probably on hold for now.

Wahler was also arrested in March in Greenville, North Carolina, for investigation of underage drinking and resisting a public officer.

No word yet as to how Al Sharpton will react. Jason Wahler may not be big enough to make the headlines, should Sharpton decide to demand his removal from the film, 2 Dudes and a Dream, now in post-production.
