Are you worrying about your hair falling out or that it might fall out in the future? This is a problem that affects a multitude of people. What many of these people don't understand though is that hair loss is usually caused by a bad diet, stress, or sickness.

There are actually some things you can do at home which will make your hair healthier. They can either prevent or reduce hair loss.

Make sure that your hair is always clean. You should regularly use shampoo and conditioner. There are even some great natural shampoos like juice of ripe soap nut and black gram powder which work wonderfully. They also help to fight dandruff! Natural products are so much better for you than all the products that have so many chemicals in them.

Here is a list of some other home remedies for hair loss:
  1. Rub oils onto your scalp such as castor oil, almond oil, or coconut oil. These oils have been known to significantly help to promote hair growth. After you apply the oil, wrap your head in a warm towel so that the oil can be absorbed into the skin easily.
  2. Apply fenugreek seed paste to the scalp a few times a week for about a half hour each time. This can reduce hair loss.
  3. Egg yolk is a great nutrient for your hair. If you use this regularly your hair will be much healthier and will look a lot better too!
  4. A great mixture you can make is a combination of olive oil, honey, and eggs. Apply this to the hair.
  5. Another great mixture is castor oil, vinegar, egg, and glycerine. Beat these ingredients together before use.
All of these home remedies are great, but the most important thing you can do for your hair is to have a healthy diet. Your diet should be high in fruits, vegetables, and protein. These ingredients are essential for healthy hair. Protein is found in meat as well as dairy products. Chicken and fish are the best.

Although this is often overlooked, iron deficiencies also cause hair loss. This is why you need to eat foods high in iron like spinach. Also be sure that you drink a lot of water.
