Minggl-Bridging the Gap Between Social Networks Such as MySpace and Facebook
One Stop Platform for All of the Personal Social Networking Sites You're Involved In
Minggl-that's right 'mingle' is the same pronunciation, but Minggl is a startup company on the net that is making waves fast. Seems a lot of people want to "minggl" on the site. Pun intended. However it's not anything like a place one goes to on the net forWhat is Minggl?
They, Minggl, refer to their site as "a social palette management tool." What it is, is a "persona centric" toolbar. Minggl lets you drag html between sites and sets rules regarding who can see what. In other words, now you are in control of your social networking sites, not the other way around. That's really great news to this writer, and a really ingenious idea and service. Who wouldn't want to be able to hide entire sections at their choosing of their MySpace page, or FaceBook, and others? I know I've had to close down my MySpace page due to too much hacking into it, subsequent trashing of it, and my plain old inability to stop such hacking because of my, shall I say, seriously illiterate technical ability.
Minggl goes on to describe "persona centric" as meaning, that "what you see and what you show can vary based on the current social site and based on who you are and who's profile you're viewing."
Do you have Myspace blogs you want to protect? Minggl can do that for you! Do you have Myspace photos you want to protect? Minggl can do that, too! Facebook stuff? Gotcha covered there, as well.
Why is this great?
One particular reason, if not the very most important reason, in this writer's opinion, is because minors can now be protected on the Internet like never before! They, and particularly their parents, don't have to fear that the wrong people are viewing their personal information. Take that you disgusting pedophiles!
