A Deliciously Healthy Alternative to Fast Food Sandwiches
Okay, I admit that I will buy a sausage McMuffin with egg sandwich when traveling early in the morning. It's convenient and tasty enough, but then I have to adjust what I eat for the rest of the day due to the high calorie and fat content. However, I make my own delicious breakfast sandwich when I'mMy substitute has received rave reviews from a number of people, so I know it competes favorably with the fast food version. Ingredients:
1 Eggbeaters egg container (small)
1 Morningstar Farms Griller Vegan Burger
1 Thomas English Muffin (plain), toaster
1 slice of Kraft 2% milk reduced fat cheese
Pam Organic Olive Oil Spray (or Butter version)

- when the English Muffin is done, slide the cooked Eggbeater egg onto a slice
- place a slice of Kraft reduced fat cheese on top of the egg
- place the Morningstar Farms Griller burger on a paper towel and microwave on high for one minute
- when the Griller is done, place it on the egg sandwich (by now, the cheese will have melted and will continue to melt)
- add catsup or your usual condiment to the sandwich
- enjoy your delicious homemade breakfast sandwich!
