St Louis is famous for its thousands of great restaurants that suit every pocket. So, let me transport you and your tastebuds on a trip of my top 5 favorite restaurants in this stylish and food-obsessed community. St Louis boasts top chefs, beautiful bistros, wonderful steakhouses, barbeque joints and lovely courtyard cafes.

Visitors can find anything and everything to suit their tastes as there is always something good 'a cooking' in St Louis. Newer community members in St Louis have brought their own culinary delights from across the globe and here you will find Asian foods, African foods, Indian foods and Eastern European dishes. Added to the already excellent St Louis culinary culture such as Creole, Cajun and Southern Classics, you will never go hungy in this part of the US. With this in mind I am going to bring you on an eating spree to my own top 5 favorite, and very different, restaurants.

SAMS STEAKHOUSE: - For people who love a good steak.

The steaks in Sams Steakhouse are to die for. This is a very lively place with perfect food. If you have an Entertainment Card then you will get great discounts in this restaurant between Sunday to Thursday. Great place, wonderful food, nice area and lively atmosphere.

DOMINIC'S ON THE HILL: - For a romantic Italian meal.

Dominics is an authentic Italian Restaurant with an excellent ambience. This is a restaurant that I would recommend for a meal for two in a romantic setting. It is a little more expensive than some of the other Italian Restaurants however, it's worth it. The food is exquisite, the service is excellent and their tuxedos are smart however it is not over the top. There is an extensive wine list and their lobster is to dye for. First class Italian cuisine for a special occasion.

MODESTO TAPAS BAR: - For a taste of Spain

If you want to try out Spanish cuisine then the Modesto Tapas Bar and Restaurant is the place to go. It can get a little bit noisy and fun so be prepared to a "no so quiet" experience. The food is excellent, the wine list is extensive and overall this is in a magnificent setting.
