Jennifer Lopez Denies Marriage Split with Marc Anthony

Pop singer and actress Jennifer Lopez's rep hs denied reports that she has split with her musician husband Marc Anthony.

An article in the newest edition of the magazine Ok! reports that the couple has "called it quits" after a tough few months. The article says that during the rough patch, the "controlling" Anthony has "suffocated" his wife.

The article quotes a source close to the couple and says "Marc is very machismo. He won't let her even do a photo shoot by herself. He is always there watching, waiting."

The article used an incident at the Golden Globes ceremony as an example. Reportedly Anthony dragged Lopez away from the ceremony after he spotted her dancing with another man.

Lopez, 37, was seen with Anthony, however, at a record signing even in the Bronx and even sang to him at the event.

Lopez, however, denies that her marriage is in trouble and is even looking into taking legal action against the magazine.

Her representative, Leslie Sloane, told the New York Daily News that the story was disgusting and full of lies.

"A disgusting story full of lies. We're consulting lawyers. In the article, the mag brands Anthony as a 'controlling' man who spends his time 'suffocating' his 37-year-old superstar wife," Sloane said to Us weekly.

A friend of the celebrity couple also says that the couple is inseparable and didn't sense any trouble between them.

The movie and music star married the Latino crooner in June 2004. She also recently described Anthony as her "perfect match."
