Pete Doherty Declares that Kate Moss is His Fiancee

Singer/songwriter Pete Doherty publicly confirmed his engagement to supermodel Kate Moss by describing her as his fiancée when she appeared with him on stage at a concert in London last night.

The two appeared on stage at the Hackney Empire in London.

The couple has helped to confuse the rumors of whether or not they would get married with Pete claiming that he won't marry Kate, contradicting with him saying that he'll marry her overseas once his passport is returned.

Last night, however, the singer dedicated the song 'KP Nuts' to Moss, which is when he said she was his fiancée. It all led to even more rising speculation that a wedding between the two is on its way.

When introducing the song he said "I am dedicating this song to my beautiful fiancee."

Moss later joined Doherty on stage at the concert to duet with him on the Babyshambles song 'La Belle Et La Bete.' Moss had an engagement ring on her finger.

The British supermodel went to London all the way from Los Angeles just to perform with him. The performance by the duo came during 'An Evening with Peter Doherty.' The event was billed as a show that would include 'poetry, readings, and acoustic songs' and some 'very special guests.'

The declaration last night by Doherty indicates that unlike many celebrity couples, they are not scared of going public with their romance. An earlier home video, in which Doherty is seen playing a guitar and singing as Moss enters a room in negligee became a huge hit on YouTube.

According to the British publication Telegraph, YouTube had 31,000 hits for the three minute clip. Moss is seen swinging in a 70s style chair suspended from the ceiling and dancing on the video.
