Guys: Places to Meet Career Women

Are you tired of meeting women with whom you have nothing in common? Do you wish you could meet someone you can really relate to? If you are a busy professional man looking for a successful career woman, here are some of the places you might find her.

Happy Hour
I don't normally condone looking for women in a bar, but the after-work happy hour is a great place to meet girls with jobs. Look for a local bar near the downtown area. It should preferably be a nice upscale type of place with a happy hour special. This is where women hang out with their coworkers, so don't be put off-the men they are with are not necessarily their boyfriends.

The Supermarket
When a single woman is grocery shopping, she is picking up items, and then putting them back on the shelves, realizing she has nobody to cook for but herself. She looks around at the couples shopping together with envy. That is where you come in. Be gentlemanly, and offer to reach something for her on a high up shelf. Or better yet, put on your helpless act and ask her for some advice on the healthiest type of fish. Or where the bread might be hidden. There is just something romantic about meeting someone in the grocery store. The best time of day to go is between 6:30 and 7:00p.m., when the single women are like vultures at the salad bar.

Starbucks
A woman who can afford a $5 latte every day is probably a successful woman. Check out the coffee shops in the downtown area of the city early in the morning. The pre-9am coffee line is a great place to strike up a conversation. Look for busy coffee shops, because the longer the line, the more time you will have to chat up the chick in the Ann Taylor suit.
