If you are looking online for a job, you need to be aware of the scams of job offers that are designed to steal your money and your information. This was the official warning of the national Better Business Bureau.

These scams for online employment show up on well-known web sites such as Monster, Yahoo, or Hot Jobs. They are disguised as real job offers. The offers are anything from accounting to medical billing to information technology.

These ads lead people to believe they can make thousands from their home computer. They also make it sound so easy. It may seem easy to some, but on the other hand it is definitely not honest. Just because an ad may appear on a popular web site, does not make it legitimate.

If someone does get scammed, finding the individual responsible for the scam is pretty close to impossible. Most lawyers will not even accept cases involving Internet scams because of the degree of difficulty to recover any money.

Below are listed some tips for those seeking employment opportunities from the Internet.

* Never accept a job opportunity if you are asked to give out personal information over the Internet. Do not accept a job that will require you to deposit checks and money orders, or to have money wired into your bank account. In addition, never agree to transfer any of your money from your account to someone else's account, even if that someone promises to reimburse you.

* You should never have to pay for job information or background and identity screenings.

* If you are asked to re ship products for someone, decline the opportunity. Because what really happens is that people spend their own money to ship products, only to get reimbursed with phony checks or money orders.

* Avoid offers from countries outside the United States and Canada. It is extremely difficult for agencies in the United States and Canada to investigate outside of these two countries.

Vultures are preying on honest business people who want to fund their businesses. Here are some ways to spot them: we have a site which deal with same category Angel investors online business scam which provides a great info about Scams on internet.
