New step-down units for stroke and heart attack will increase facility care for patients with acute cardiac and neurological conditions.
Glendale Adventist Medical Center West Tower rooms have Internet access, large windows, day beds for guests, as well as the convenience of East San Fernando Valley. 12 rooms will be used specifically for stroke victims. New Glendale Adventist Medical Center catheterization labs using GE Innova Biplane technology are planned. These provide 3-D imaging of the vascular system for image-guided operations and treatments.
