The Past and the Present

Poem

THE PAST AND THE PRESENT

With past and present

In view,

I weigh the joys and

the sorrows....

in cue.

And when I think of

His kindness to me

in the years

gone by,

my head hangs

in shame

indeed

for asking him:

Why? God, why?

I have at least

accepted His Will

and resigned to

my fate.

I have given Him

all my trust and faith.
