Deal or No Deal Comes to Music City

Tennesseans will be getting their change to become millionaires in just a couple of weeks. The popular prime time game show Deal or No Deal will be hosting an open casting call in Nashville Tennessee on April 28, 2007. The call will be held at Dave and Busters located inside the Opry Mills Mall from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.

The NBC game show is promoting a "Deal on Wheels" Casting tour. The tour bus is on the road and the website will list new stops every three days. You can check out the website to find out if the bus will be coming to a town near you. Currently there are stops scheduled for, Grand Prairie Texas, San Antonio, Texas, Nashville, Tennessee and Indianapolis, Indiana. Check the website often to find out if your city has been added to the list.

Deal or No Deal is a reality type game show hosted by Howie Mandel. Contestants play to win the top prize of $1 million dollars. It currently airs on Monday's and Thursday's on NBC. The show premiered in late 2005 and ratings hit the roof. Famous for its beautiful and fashionable models and the chance to become a millionaire, the game show has become an American favorite.

Anyone wishing to try to win a spot on the television show without going to the open casting call must submit a 5 minute personal video take of themselves and the supporters you would like to have with you. Fill out an application, which is available on the NBC website, and mail it in to the correct address. They also request that you include a recent photo of yourself, one close up and one full body. For anyone able to attend the casting call, these steps are not necessary. Representatives will hand pick prospective players in person. A huge turn-out is expected for the open call in Nashville, it is recommended you arrive early and wear comfortable clothing. Opry Mills Mall is located just off of Briley Parkway in Nashville Tennessee. Parking at the mall is free.
