Many religions and cultures believe that there is a life force in every thing on and around our beautiful Earth, including rocks and minerals, trees, water, etc. This life force has many names but is essentially the same in all cultures. In China it is called Chi and in India it is called Prana. In this method of thinking, it is simply called Life Force.

Crystal healing encourages the body to heal itself by improving the flow of the life energy through the meridians, charkas, and energy points. This is accomplished by applying the crystals or stones at energy centers and then applying pressure with the hands, directing energy through additional crystals such as quartz or selenite, or through the mind alone. Crystals additionally can be put around the body to aid the Life Force flow through and around the body.

Crystal healing is a physical, emotional, and mental process. During crystal healing, one retreats inward to find the root cause of the problem - why one became sick in the first place, and very often will cry as the built-up energy is loosened and finally allowed to run freely through the meridians.

Ceremony is also very helpful during crystal healings, such as writing down one's problems on a piece of paper, giving the piece of paper to the healer, and burning the paper after the healing. This allows the body to realize that the problem has been relieved by the crystal healing and allows the mind to understand by the burning of the paper.

Scientists have known for years that emotions can play a huge part in illness. Stress in itself can cause heart attacks, miscarriages, high blood pressure, hair loss, nervousness, weight loss, etc. By eliminating the root problem that caused the stress, healing can occur. Western medicine has embraced only the symptoms of the disease within the body and never really addressed the root cause. Finding the root cause is the basis for crystal healing. Crystal healing is not just placement of stones upon a body even though placement of stones is very beneficial. Crystal healing is a cure of the root problem which caused the illness.
